treatment and 'roids

Anna started up with another intense round of treatment 2 weeks ago. This is all part of the schedule and just something that she has to go through. She has another 6 weeks of intense treatment and then will be on maintenance.

Despite being in the heavier treatment schedule, she's been feeling really well... really well and full of energy. Most of this though is the steroids and she'll be coming off of them fairly soon. During the days she has lots of energy, but this often translates to problems sleeping. She's been bouncing off the walls quite a bit to the point where she's reorganized almost all of our closets and often finds herself wide awake at 3:30am and cooking something. Her appetite has also been fantastic (mostly the roids), so all of that is pretty good. She does come off the steroids pretty soon and at that point will probably crash pretty hard. At this point though, I think she sees that there are just 6 weeks go to until the maintenance plan starts and that should be enough to keep up the positive energy even through the lows. As you've probably noticed, when things are good I tend not to blog as much... hopefully, things will remain good and if so, I'll just post occasionally. If things get worse for any reason, I'm sure I'll post more often.

In other news, things at home are pretty good. We've had a busy house with someone always been here. My mom's been here quite a bit, and now her relatives (god-parents) are going to be here for the next month or so. With all of the company, Anna and TJ have been here and haven't had to go to Anna's parent's house for quite a while. All good news!
