chemo day
Today was chemo day. This was the one that was supposed to be yesterday. Everything went according to plan. The pain was present throughout much of the day, but another day of progress. She spoke with the doctor about the pain and he re-assured her that its really just all the meds that she is on and that "we are doing this to her". Meaning, its just the way that its going to be while she goes through this treatment.
I'm going to be on the run the next couple days, but will try to get quick status reports out for everyone. I appreciate everyone continuing to check in.

You guys are amazing! My father told me about the Blog and I read it all last night. Tom, I have not seen you since we were little kids and Anna, I have only heard wonderful stories about you from my parents and your in-laws. I wanted to write and let you know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. You are in wonderful hands. The hospital is really great, not only in knowledge but caring, which is so important. I am an Oncology nurse by profession and have a lot of experience dealing with situations like this. I want you to know that I am here if you need anyone to bounce things off of. Just know that you are in good hands and a lot of people are praying for you. You have angels on your side :)
