are you ready for some football

I did some shopping this morning and then headed over to the hospital. I'm becoming quite the shopper these days, though certainly would prefer if I wasn't. She had an ultrasound this morning, just to check out and see how her insides are working. She has a bit of gas built up inside her which is the cause of the stomach pains. It's also the reason why she hasn't been on the phone (voice or text) as that contributes to the discomfort.

She felt better today than she felt yesterday. Every day has been a little better. Today, she felt good enough to walk around a little bit and hopefully will soon be back to doing multiple laps around the halls. Other than that, it was a pretty quiet day over here. She slept for a bit during the day, so I got to watch quite a bit of football. She claims I was snoring at one point, but I'm not too sure about that. The 15 inch hospital TV still isn't the same as the big screen at home, especially that I'm not throwing back a few cold ones, but it will work for now.

I'm taking another box of stuff home tonight, which feels pretty good... Another day or two of taking boxes home and then hopefully at some point this week, she'll feel good enough to get out of here!
