blood transfusion and chemo

Anna had a long day today. I think she was up before 6am and at the hospital for about 6+ hours. The blood transfusion takes a while. They had to get her prepped, then pre-meds, then the actual transfusion itself takes quite a few hours. It doesn't sound like the procedure is difficult physically, but she is confined to the bed for quite a few hours. They also did a chemo shot while she was over there, but that part is pretty quick.

She looked a little extra tired tonight when I saw her, but she said she still felt pretty good. I think it was just a long day and a good night's sleep will help her quite a bit.

We are all over at her parents place tonight and I got to spend some time with TJ before he went to sleep. He runs around this place like he owns it.

Big thanks to Kathleen who has been helping out with the transportation.

I could not stay awake after

I could not stay awake after all of that exams preparation. Kept falling asleep on the way home, and after we got home I slept the entire time until waking up to write 000-207 exam. It was a long day: at the infusion from 8:30 am to 4:45 pm. I’m ready for more sleep . Sweet dreams.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I am catching up on 10 days of blogs today which is Halloween - one of our faves!! Hugs and Treats for TJ. Best "Witches" for good days and good test results. So glad you are home but so sad for you about Tino. Maybe you should advertise via the Internet or through the Yankees - they need a warm and fuzzy story to boost their appeal (Met fan here!!) - maybe you can figure out a way sell him and donate the money to LLS or something like that. Anyway, today was my first paycheck in seven months - but due to Medicaid cuts there are going to be layoffs there over the next few months - I will freak out if I lose this job as there is no severance! All these years on Wall Street has spoiled me!! I am so angry about the whole banking and insurance industry fiasco I could just scream!!! Anyway Anna Banana - keep on shoppin' (sorry Tom) and keep on keepin' on.

P.S. I am on my brother's computer now just to read blog - don't know when I will get on again. Text me even a "hi" when you are up to it.

Love you lots,
Debbie D

hope you had a good day

Hi Anna,
Yeah, that recap of yesterday sounded tiring just reading it. I hope you had a good night; and I hope both of you were able to rest a bit. Ah yes, if we only had the energy of children. We need to bottle that!
Hugs to all,
Stephanie
