Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you had a good one.

I stopped by the hospital early today with breakfast for Anna. Although she was in the hospital, I thought it'd still be nice to have a little breakfast in bed. It wasn't exactly the most romantic thing we've ever done, but we'll do our best with the current situation. I spent a few hours at home with TJ and then back again tonight for a romantic dinner for two. I suspect we won't have any problems with our reservations tonight, and hopefully the line at the microwave won't be too long :)

She's been doing pretty good the last couple of days. She's had quite a bit of energy and has been doing quite a bit of walking around on the floor. Two of the three times that I stopped by, she was out walking the floor, so that's always good to see. Overall, she's making it through this visit in pretty good shape. She has had some trouble sleeping, which is both a side effect of the 'roids, and a result of some noisy neighbors over here. The sounds you hear around these halls can really get to you after a while. She's been keeping her door shut, and generally has the TV or her new fancy-dancy ipod on to help drown out the noise.

It looks like she'll have the Lumbar Puncture on Monday, and the if all goes well, she'll get to go home on Tuesday. Yippe!

Thanks everyone for checking in. Also, big thanks for everyone who has signed up with the registry. If you haven't done so yet, please check out the info and then go register!

Valentine's Day

Hello Anna and Tom,
I am glad that you were able to have some fun dining in on this romantic day. I know that your table had the best views in the "restaurant" especially as you were able to gaze in each other's eyes! Love to you both, TJ, and the rest of the family during this next phase of your journey.
Love,
Ira and Chris
