day off

Today was a day off from going to the hospital for outpatient treatment. Even on the days off from going to the hospital, she does still take a couple chemo pills. She went out with my mom and did a little more shopping. Not as much damage this time, as it was only Bed, Bath and Beyond. She felt pretty good today, but got tired a few times as she was doing things. She hasn't taken pain meds in a couple days, so that's a good sign. She does continue to take the occasional pill for nausea, but overall the meds are at a pretty low quantity these days. My mom is here through tomorrow morning, then she heads home. She's been great. Anna and my mom have bonded quite a bit this week. They were close before, but probably even closer now.

Anna and TJ will spend most of next week in the city at her parent's house. Our friend Kathleen (the one that runs the marathons) will be helping with transportation, etc next week, so that's a big relief.
